組合員の手記　国外で知らされた突然の解雇も無事解決

Hello my name is T.
I am from Fiji and currently living and working in Tokyo Japan.
I have been living in Japan for 5 years now and have I will be definitely living in Japan until I retire. I want to create more memories in this beautiful country and meet new friends, visit new places and eat a lot more Japanese food. I love the Japanese food, festivals and people. I find living in Japan(Land of the Rising Sun) to be the best suited country for my lifestyle.
Here is Japan I get to do the things I love the most like, playing rugby and badminton, going to the gym, reading manga and watching anime. Also learning how to cook Japanese style food. These things are all possible because I am here in Japan.
Here is what happened in my situation.
I heard about P.U. through a friend who had been in a similar situation to myself. I contacted my friend who told me then to contact P.U.. I was unsure of what have could been achieved since I was fired from my current job. It was very stressful from me at that time since I was in another country when this all happened. Entering back into Japan and not knowing how things will end up was very daunting.
I called the number my friend gave me and I instantly got in contact with P.U.. I was asked to go directly to them and discuss my situation about being fired. I went and explained everything about my situation. They told me not to worry as I had done nothing wrong.
Within a week I was hired back into the company, and I thought things would have been back to normal. Unfortunately things did not pan out that way. I was getting harassed daily by my boss. Everything I did was wrong. None of my work was ever correct. I tolerated for three months and that was not correct of me.
After a lot of discussions with P.U. and the company we came to an agreement about a settlement. I am very satisfied how things came to a closure in the end.
If I hadn’t contacted P.U. I would have just been stuck in a bad situation and jobless. Things wouldn't have ended in a positive outcome as it has for me.
If you would like to know
I joined P.U. because I needed help with my current work situation. Things were not so good at work. The environment wasn’t easy to work in. With the help of P.U. and negotiations with my company, I managed to come to an agreement. I now am feeling like a burden has been lifted off my shoulders and I am satisfied with the outcome. I wouldn’t have been able to do things without the help of P.U..
